Our Founders’ 6 Favorite Moments of 2023

One Year, Ten Awesome New Partners

Across 2023, we welcomed ten new brand partners – all incredible companies making a positive impact for workers’ rights and our planet. With these new brands, we’ve been able to expand the shoes you’ll find at wearwell (oh, hello, completely sustainable #OOTD!), gorgeous ethically-made jewelry, and our home goods + decor. What better way to start out next year than by making your abode just as sustainable as your wardrobe?

Extra Impact All Year Round

We turned up the volume on our impact, launching more collections that make it easier than ever to shop by your values: Made in USA, Certified B Corps, Plastic Free Solutions, and Zero Waste + Upcycled. Beyond our sourcing standards, these new curated collections, and our commitment to 1% For The Planet, we also donate an extra 1% of every order to a high-impact nonprofit of your choice. During Earth Month, Pride, and the Holiday Season, we doubled our donations to reproductive rights, racial justice, clean water, and sustainability. In fact, we’re still doubling your impact through December 31st. All you need to do is shop, and we take care of the rest!

Surprise, Surprise!

In the spring, we launched our first-ever wearwell Mystery Boxes which meant you could score sustainable goodies for up to 90% off! It’s one of many ways we’re making sustainable shopping more price accessible, but it’s also such a fun surprise to open up a box chock full of wearwell finds. Mark your calendars! We’ll be launching Mystery Boxes again in early 2024!

Sustainable Swaps

We’re all part of the wearwell community because we’re trying to live sustainably with a little less effort! 2023 was the year that a lot of you changed out your disposable cotton rounds for reusable fabric face cleansing pads, swapped tampons for better period care like the Saalt Menstrual Disc (Erin’s personal favorite), or began using the Cora Ball to reduce microplastics in your laundry (Emily’s personal favorite).

Movin’ On Up

We moved into Philadelphia’s BOK Building this year, creating a new space where you can shop wearwell in person. We’ve hosted pop-ups and events throughout the year and highlighted our Made in Philly brand partners. On a personal note, it’s been so fulfilling and fun to be surrounded by a community of makers and small business owners who share similar values and goals.

Read All About It!

Last but definitely not least, wearwell made headlines in places like Refinery 29, Travel + Leisure, Real Simple, The Quality Edit, Byrdie, The Spruce, USA Today, and many more. We’re thrilled to be building a women-owned business that helps you make the greatest impact possible when you shop, and we truly launched into the spotlight this year - all thanks to your support!
